It's Official...I have Gestational Diabetes!

ALL IN ALL...it means once again that I am NOT a normal pregnant woman...It was fun while it lasted! The good news is that I only have about 8 weeks to deal with all of this! We would still appreiciate your prayers!

I agree with H West. Lots of Garlic, or at least that would be the advice your Grandma would give you. She used Garlic to cure everything from High blood pressure to Low Blood pressure, to Diabetes to Heart conditions. By the way, the little blurb that shows the baby's development, is for normal babys not 9 pounders, I'll bet its more like 6 lbs. Love Mom

I'd say add an insane amount of water to that list. I had 'borderline' sugar issues with the last 3 pregnancies. Hence, 9lbs11ozs, 9lbs, 9lbs10ozs. But I wear a size 10 shoe so they shot out like bullets (well, the last 2 anyway). A midwife told me that there is a relation between your shoe size and the size of your pelvis. Fascinating. Apparently, I've got a doozy of a pelvis.
